Revanth Reddy said the Kodangal Krishna River water project will ensure irrigation for farmland in the constituency and support development in the region.
During his visit to Kodangal, the Chief Minister said bringing Kodangal Krishna River water to agricultural lands is a key goal of the government. He asked officials to speed up the Narayanpet–Kodangal lift irrigation scheme and assured that funds will be provided for the project.
He made these remarks while participating in development programmes and performing the ground-breaking ceremony for a Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple project worth about ₹110 crore. Ministers and local leaders attended the event.
The Chief Minister said the irrigation project will help farmers and transform the constituency. The government is also planning industrial, education, and infrastructure projects to develop Kodangal as a model constituency in the state.
