Krishna Bhaskar Assumes Charge as Singareni CMD, Pledges Focus on Safety and Productivity

Krishna Bhaskar assumed charge as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Monday, taking over the reins of one of India’s leading coal mining companies. The appointment marks a new phase in the company’s operations, with expectations of continued growth and efficiency in coal production.
Addressing employees after taking charge, Bhaskar emphasized the importance of safety, productivity, and sustainable mining practices. He urged all staff to work collaboratively to meet the company’s operational and financial targets while maintaining environmental and social responsibilities.
Singareni Collieries, jointly owned by the Government of Telangana and the Government of India, plays a crucial role in supplying coal to power plants and industries across the country. The new CMD indicated plans to modernize mining operations, adopt advanced technologies, and enhance employee welfare programs. Stakeholders and employees welcomed the leadership change, expressing confidence that Bhaskar’s experience would strengthen the company’s performance and strategic vision in the coming years.
