Telangana IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused CM Revanth Reddy of playing politics under the influence of PM Modi and former CM Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking at TG Bhavan, KTR alleged that the Medigadda Barrage is not being repaired due to Chandrababu’s personal interests, affecting irrigation and local farmers.
He compared the situation with Karnataka’s Almatty Dam, where the government is spending ₹70,000 crore to raise the dam height by 5 feet. KTR also referenced KCR’s Kaleshwaram project, stating that critics falsely claimed the ₹93,000 crore project cost “one lakh crore,” spreading misinformation.
KTR emphasized that Telangana’s youth must protect the state from political interference by Congress and BJP, highlighting the need for vigilance against attempts to undermine local development projects. He called for awareness and participation among citizens to safeguard state interests.
