Telangana Minister *K.T. Rama Rao (KTR)* recently hinted at the possibility of a mass *people’s movement in India, drawing parallels with the political upheavals seen in Nepal. His comments sparked reactions from BJP leader **Bandi Sanjay*, who responded sharply to KTR’s statement.
Sanjay tweeted that in Telangana, *KCR (Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao)* had already curbed nepotism, sidelining even his own children when necessary. He emphasized that the *BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi)* had faced setbacks in the Lok Sabha elections but took steps to end family dominance in politics.
He further mentioned that KTR’s remarks were naive, suggesting that youth in Telangana had already witnessed the political reality through NDTV-YUVA’s online platforms. Sanjay’s response underscores the *continuing debate over political reforms, nepotism, and public movements* in India. The exchange reflects the tension between predictions of widespread activism and the assertion of governance reforms within existing political systems.
