BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) launched a sharp attack on Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, mocking the government’s priorities. Speaking during the ‘Congress Baaki Card’ campaign in Jubilee Hills, KTR ridiculed the CM’s plan to develop a grand “Future City” while the existing “Present City” of Hyderabad struggles with flooding, mosquito problems, and civic neglect.
KTR alleged that instead of addressing immediate issues like drainage, infrastructure, and public safety, the Congress government is focusing on real estate-driven projects for political mileage. He pointed out that the Revanth administration cancelled existing metro projects only to propose a new metro line for the “Future City,” which he called a sign of short-sighted governance.
Calling it a “real estate business in the name of development,” KTR urged citizens to question the government’s misplaced priorities and demanded action for the people’s real needs today, not distant promises.
