KTR Urges Rahul Gandhi to Break Silence on ₹5 Lakh Crore HILTP Land Scam
BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has written a letter to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, urging him to break his silence on the alleged ₹5 lakh crore HILTP land scam in Telangana. KTR questioned whether Rahul Gandhi’s continued silence should be interpreted as tacit approval of the alleged scam or shared responsibility for it.
He criticised the Congress government in Telangana, alleging large-scale irregularities and misuse of power in the handling of lands under the Hyderabad Integrated Land Transformation Project (HILTP). KTR said that the opposition has raised serious concerns, but Rahul Gandhi has remained unmoved despite promising accountability and transparency during the election campaign.
Calling the alleged scam one of the biggest in the State’s history, KTR demanded an impartial investigation and accountability from those in power. He asserted that the people of Telangana deserve clarity and transparency from national leaders on such a major issue.
