Union Minister Lalan Singh visited the residence of former MLA and strongman Anant Singh in Patna early on Saturday morning. Soon after, both leaders left together in the same car to participate in a road show in Mokama, signaling strong unity within the JD(U) and NDA alliance ahead of the Bihar elections.
Anant Singh has already declared that he will contest from Mokama on a JD(U) ticket. Lalan Singh, who earlier served as JD(U) president, made this early morning visit as a show of political strength.
The road show began at Sabnimah and continued through the main routes leading up to Mokama. Supporters gathered in large numbers, showering garlands, flowers, and cheering with drum beats to welcome the two leaders.
During their journey, Lalan Singh sat in the front seat, while Anant Singh took the back seat, drawing public attention. Political observers say this joint appearance demonstrates the NDA’s intention to consolidate votes in Mokama and nearby constituencies.
This road show highlights how the Lalan Singh and Anant Singh road show in Mokama has become a key moment in the Bihar poll campaign, strengthening JD(U)’s position in the region.
