Lalan Singh denies RCP return in JDU and clearly dismisses speculation about former leader RCP Singh rejoining the party. Senior JD(U) leader Lalan Singh made this statement while speaking to reporters in Munger, Bihar. He said the idea of RCP Singh’s return does not arise at all.
Lalan Singh said RCP Singh damaged the party when he held key responsibilities. During that period, JD(U)’s number of seats dropped sharply. He questioned why the party should take back someone linked to that decline.
He added that JD(U) later regained strength due to the hard work of party workers and strong public support. The party’s seat count improved significantly after that phase. According to him, there is no reason to reverse that progress.
Recently, RCP Singh hinted that he shared a long political relationship with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He suggested that a reunion could be possible in the future. However, Lalan Singh rejected this claim firmly.
He said there will be no compromise on party discipline or leadership decisions. The JD(U) leadership stands united on this issue.
For now, RCP Singh remains outside the party, and his return appears highly unlikely.
