Dehradun: Floods have created panic in Uttarakhand. Landslides have occurred on Dharavali village in Gangotri. The entire village has been wiped out. All the houses have been destroyed. Many people are missing under the debris. So far, 60 people are missing. Alert rescue teams have intensified rescue operations. A massive cloudburst has occurred in Dharavali near Harsil area of Uttarakhand. Uttarkashi Police has revealed that the water level in Kherphad in Harsil is rising sharply due to the cloudburst. Police, SRF and disaster teams have been deployed in Dharavali, which suffered heavy damage in the cloudburst.
Rescue operations have been intensified in residential areas. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has responded to the floods.
