IT Minister Nara Lokesh toured Visakhapatnam today as part of his official visit. He inaugurated the new Cognizant office established at the Mahati Fintic building on Hill-2 in the Rushikonda IT Park. MP Bharat and Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao joined the event. Before attending the inauguration, Lokesh visited the Visakhapatnam TDP office and interacted with local citizens.
During the visit, Lokesh welcomed everyone and collected petitions on various issues. Many people presented appeals regarding pensions and local civic problems. He examined each request and assured quick resolutions. Moreover, he instructed party workers to track urgent cases and support affected citizens without delay.
Since taking charge as IT Minister, Lokesh has focused on attracting new investments to Andhra Pradesh. He aims to transform Visakhapatnam into a major IT hub. Consequently, several IT companies have already shown interest and begun operations in the city. The minister stated that continued investment will generate strong employment opportunities for youth.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is also participating in today’s programmes. The government plans to expand IT infrastructure across the region. Furthermore, new technology parks are under consideration to strengthen growth around Visakhapatnam and nearby areas.
