The LPG Crisis in Bihar has raised concern among many consumers. Reports say some people sell gas cylinders in the black market for up to ₹1500. Because of this, many residents rushed to gas agencies to refill their cylinders.
The LPG Crisis in Bihar has also led to panic buying. Long queues formed outside gas agencies in districts such as Patna, Vaishali, East Champaran and Darbhanga. Many people fear that gas cylinders may soon run out.
Residents in the Babubarhi area of Madhubani district complained about the shortage. They say agencies often do not have cylinders. However, some illegal sellers offer cylinders at very high prices.
The Bihar government has responded to the situation. Officials say the state has enough LPG stock for domestic use. They asked people not to panic or crowd gas agencies.
Authorities also warned traders against black marketing. The administration has started inspections at gas storage centers and agencies. Officials said they will take strict action against anyone involved in illegal sales.
