LPG gas cylinder dispute leads to murder of 9-month pregnant woman in Bihar

A shocking LPG gas cylinder dispute led to the death of a 9-month pregnant woman in Bihar’s Begusarai district. Police said the woman was beaten to death by her husband after an argument about bringing an LPG cylinder for cooking.

The incident happened in Mujafra village under Veerpur police station. The victim, 21-year-old Lakshmi Devi, was in the final stage of pregnancy. According to reports, she asked her husband to arrange an LPG cylinder because the gas at home had already run out.

During the LPG gas cylinder dispute, the argument became violent. The husband, Raja Chaudhary, allegedly beat her brutally, causing her death.

Family members later accused the husband of harassment and violence. Police took the body for post-mortem and started an investigation. Officers have arrested the accused and are questioning him.

The couple also had a two-and-a-half-year-old child. Locals say the husband often fought with his wife and had gambling habits.
