The Lucknow Coaching Centre Fire claimed the lives of 11 people after a massive blaze broke out in a building in the Purnia area of Aliganj, Lucknow. The Lucknow Coaching Centre Fire also left several others injured as rescue teams rushed to the scene.
According to police officials, many people became trapped inside the building when the fire spread rapidly. Some victims jumped from the upper floors to escape the flames and suffered serious injuries. Emergency teams shifted the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The building reportedly housed a coaching centre and a gaming zone. Several students and employees were inside when the fire started. Firefighters rescued a number of people, but many suffered burn injuries.
Rescue operations continue at the site, and authorities fear the death toll could rise. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the tragedy and directed police, fire services, and local officials to speed up relief and rescue efforts.
