The Andhra Pradesh government signed an MoU with Lulu Mall during the Visakhapatnam CII Conference. The agreement was finalized in the presence of CM Chandrababu Naidu and the Mall CEO. The deal focuses on investment in the state’s Mallavelli Food Processing Unit.
Officials confirmed that the MoU includes terms for land allotment and tax incentives. The state aims to attract significant investments through such strategic partnerships. The project is expected to boost employment opportunities and industrial development in Andhra Pradesh.
Recently, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan expressed concerns about the Lulu Mall deal. He criticized plans for beef exports through the mall and opposed excessive conditions imposed on investments. He also emphasized that government-provided land and concessions should not come with unnecessary restrictions.
After discussions, both Lulu Mall and the Andhra Pradesh government agreed to proceed with the investment. The MoU signing marks a crucial step in strengthening industrial collaborations in the state. Authorities believe this agreement will further promote business growth and economic development.
