Supporters expressed surprise online. They believe Maithili could have helped the party in Mithilanchal, where she enjoys massive popularity. Still, BJP may include her later in another round of candidate announcements. For now, the spotlight stays on Vinod Narayan Jha as the BJP face from Benipatti.
