A disturbing incident from Mandsaur has gone viral, showing a drunk truck driver causing chaos on the Mhow–Neemuch bypass highway. The intoxicated driver, visibly out of control, terrified commuters as he sped along the highway while preventing vehicles behind him from overtaking.
In the viral video, the truck can be seen repeatedly climbing the road divider and swerving dangerously from one end of the highway to the other. Motorists following the vehicle, including two-wheelers and cars, were forced to maintain distance as there was no safe opportunity to overtake the erratic truck.
Eyewitnesses reported that the driver’s reckless behaviour put countless lives at risk. Several commuters recorded the spine-chilling scene on their mobile phones, later sharing it on social media, where it quickly gained widespread attention.
Following the uproar, locals have demanded strict and immediate action from the police to address such blatant negligence and ensure road safety on the highway.
