Manjhi and Kushwaha Get 6 Each, Chirag Paswan Bags 29 Seats

Bihar Seat Sharing 2025 leaders Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Upendra Kushwaha

In the Bihar Seat Sharing 2025, Jitan Ram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha could not get their desired numbers in the NDA deal. Both leaders settled for six seats each. Manjhi, who had demanded 15 seats, argued that his party needed at least 8–9 MLAs for official recognition. Kushwaha, too, asked for more than 10 seats but managed only six.

On the other hand, Chirag Paswan once again proved his strength in the Bihar Seat Sharing 2025. He secured 29 seats for his Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), even though BJP initially offered fewer. His political rise continues after winning all five Lok Sabha seats in 2024.

BJP and JDU will contest 101 seats each, balancing the alliance. Despite Manjhi’s and Kushwaha’s disappointment, Chirag emerged as the major gainer, showing his growing influence in Bihar politics.
