The country’s largest public sector bank, State Bank of India (SBI), is recruiting a large number of jobs. It has launched a large-scale recruitment drive to fill 5,583 Junior Associate (Customer Service & Support) vacancies for the period 2025-26. The online application window will be open from August 6 to August 26. SBI recently recruited 505 probationary officers and 13,455 junior associates. The bank has made fresh recruitments to improve service delivery and operational efficiency across SBI’s vast network of branches and offices across the country.
This recruitment drive aims to strengthen the human resource capacity of SBI, which currently has over 2.36 lakh employees, and recruit new talent who can meet the evolving customer and technological needs. Hiring new talent is a key component of our goal to strengthen our human resource capabilities. “Through structured skill development programs, we aim to align our employees with the functional and technological advancements that are reshaping the banking sector,” said SBI Chairman CS Shetty, underlining the strategic importance of this appointment.
