Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh Gram and Ward Secretariat Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) has announced a massive march in Vijayawada on October 10, demanding immediate resolution of their pending issues. The announcement came during the Northern Andhra Regional Meeting of Secretariat employees held at Simhachalam, Visakhapatnam.
JAC State Chairman Jani Pasha clarified that secretariat employees will not perform volunteer duties under any circumstances. The employees are demanding exemption from house-to-house survey duties and immediate release of national increments and nine months of arrears. They also called for ACS increments for secretaries completing six years of service, upgradation of all employees to Junior Assistant scale, and implementation of promotion channels and job charts without delay.
The meeting was attended by JAC Secretary General Vipparthi Vikhil Krishna, Convener Abdul Razak, Organizing Secretary Wesley, Co-Chairmen Bhargav Sutej, Ankamraju, Vice-Chairmen Srinivas, Nageswara Rao, and Greater Visakhapatnam JAC members.
