Mathura Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill UP CM Yogi Adityanath

A 27-year-old man from Nagla Hardayal village in Mathura, identified as Suneet alias Gatua, was arrested for posting a video threatening to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In the viral video, Suneet is seen holding a pistol and issuing direct threats.
When police reached his home, Suneet climbed to the terrace and threatened to shoot himself. After a 2.5-hour standoff, police managed to disarm and arrest him using a ladder to access the rooftop.
According to officials, Suneet was reportedly upset over a land dispute with his uncle and claimed his complaints were ignored by local authorities. He allegedly made the threat to draw attention to his grievances.
