Meta Connect 2025, the annual tech showcase by Meta, begins tonight. The two-day event runs from September 17 to 18. The main highlight will be the keynote by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Day 1. He is expected to discuss AI-powered smart glasses, AI advancements, and updates on the Metaverse.
The keynote timings are as follows: US – 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET (Sept. 17), India – 5:30 a.m. IST (Sept. 18), and UK – 1 a.m. BST (Sept. 18). Viewers can watch the event live via Meta’s Facebook developers page, Meta Horizon for Quest, or through livestream registration.
The spotlight of the event is expected to be the Ray-Ban Meta Display, also called Meta Hypernova. These smart glasses are designed to combine smartphone and smartwatch functions. They may come with a gesture band for easier control.
Meta may also reveal the third-generation Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. The new models could include a Meta AI assistant, built-in cameras and speakers, and longer battery life. Additionally, Meta might launch AI-enabled Oakley smart glasses, possibly in Oakley’s Spheara style. Fans and tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting these announcements.
