Meta Platforms has introduced a brand-new feature called Vibes, a feed dedicated to short AI-generated videos. The company wants to speed up its artificial intelligence work and make it more accessible for everyday users.
With Vibes, people can create videos from scratch, edit their own clips, or remix videos already shared on the feed. Users can also add music or fresh visuals to personalize their content. Once a video is ready, they can post it directly on the Vibes feed or share it across Instagram and Facebook through stories and reels.
The new feature will be available on the Meta AI app and the meta.ai website starting Thursday. Meta hopes this will boost creativity while also bringing more engagement to its platforms.
This launch comes after Meta reorganized its AI projects in June under a new division called Superintelligence Labs. The move followed challenges with its open-source Llama 4 model and the exit of key staff. Now, Meta is betting big on AI-driven products like the Meta AI app, advertising tools that turn images into videos, and its line of smart glasses.
With Vibes, Meta aims to mix fun, creativity, and technology—while building new sources of revenue.
