Minister Lokesh Reviews Cyclone Relief Operations in Andhra Pradesh

Cyclone Montha caused heavy rain across Andhra Pradesh, affecting several districts. The state government launched nonstop relief operations and began moving people from cyclone-hit areas to safer shelters.

Minister Nara Lokesh reviewed the cyclone situation and rescue work from the Secretariat. He said the RTGS Centre is tracking the situation in every district in real time. Lokesh directed officials to take quick relief and rehabilitation steps based on field reports.

He spoke with special officers in affected districts and gathered updates on local conditions. Lokesh said the government is ready to face any emergency and will ensure that people receive timely help. He also reviewed supply arrangements for essential goods in relief camps.

The Minister urged alliance leaders and party workers to stay among the people and assist them. He said government teams are working day and night to prevent loss of life and ensure safety in coastal regions.
