The Minority Welfare ₹3769 Crore Allocation in the Telangana Budget 2026–27 highlights the government’s strong focus on education and employment opportunities for minority communities. The Minority Welfare ₹3769 Crore Allocation is ₹178 crore higher than last year’s budget.
The funds will support several programmes such as scholarships, fee reimbursement, skill development training and self-employment schemes for minority youth. The government also plans to strengthen residential schools and provide better nutrition and modern kitchen facilities for students.
Students from intermediate to postgraduate levels will receive financial support through scholarships and fee reimbursement programmes. Officials expect nearly 66,000 students to benefit from these initiatives.
The budget also includes schemes for women and youth, including sewing machines for women and financial assistance for self-employment. These initiatives aim to improve livelihoods and promote inclusive development among minority communities across Telangana.
