The Narendra Modi government is determined to wipe out the drug menace from India. Union Home Minister Amit Shah made this strong statement on Tuesday while addressing the Second National Conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) heads in New Delhi. He said the government is taking bold steps to fight drugs and protect the country’s future.

Shah explained that the Modi government is making all-out efforts to defeat narcotics networks. He stressed that saving the young generation is vital for building a secure and fully developed India by 2047. According to him, Prime Minister Modi’s vision is clear: India must become the world’s leading nation, and the youth will be the foundation of that journey.

The Home Minister also noted India’s geographical challenge. Two major global drug supply hubs are near the country. He urged authorities to scale up operations and ensure more successes in the fight against drugs.

The conference, organized by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), brought together top officials from States and Union Territories. Shah urged them to act with determination and coordination. He said the fight against drugs is not just a law enforcement issue but also a mission to safeguard the future of India’s youth.
