The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit concluded successfully in China, with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi playing a central role in the discussions. After the summit, Modi shared his reflections on social media platform X, calling his visit to China both productive and meaningful.

In his tweet, the Prime Minister wrote: “Concluding a productive visit to China where I attended the SCO Summit and engaged with world leaders. I also reiterated India’s stand on key global issues. My thanks to President Xi Jinping, the Chinese government, and the people of China for hosting a successful summit.”

Earlier, while addressing the 25th SCO Summit, Modi highlighted terrorism as a major threat to peace, stressing that India has faced this challenge for over four decades. He emphasized that India’s engagement with the SCO rests on three pillars — security, connectivity, and opportunity.

The Prime Minister further called on SCO nations to join India’s development journey and act collectively to overcome separatism and extremism. He underlined that cooperation and reforms were essential for lasting peace and growth in the region, while also urging member states to embrace unity and responsibility.
