Monazir Hasan Quits Jan Suraj, Joins AIMIM for Munger Battle

Monazir Hasan quits Jan Suraj joins AIMIM Munger elections

Former minister Monazir Hasan quits Jan Suraj just before the Bihar elections. His exit has created a buzz in Munger politics. Hasan was upset after not getting a ticket from Prashant Kishor’s party. He wanted to contest from Munger but was denied the seat.

Now, Hasan has joined Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM and will fight the election from Munger. His sudden move has surprised many, as he was seen sitting with Prashant Kishor at a Jan Suraj press meet on Monday.

Recently, Jan Suraj announced its second list of 65 candidates. The list caused anger among workers who did not get tickets. Some even protested in Patna, accusing the party of unfair selection. Party leader Kishore Munna said the party will talk to the upset members soon.

Monazir Hasan is a four-time MLA from Munger and a former MP from Begusarai. He also served in the Rabri Devi and Nitish Kumar governments. His decision to join AIMIM could change Munger’s political game and weaken Jan Suraj’s position in the region.
