MP Cabinet Goes High-Tech as Chief Minister Mohan Yadav distributed tablets to all cabinet ministers to strengthen e-governance. The move aims to make the system paperless, secure, and time efficient. The tablets were handed out during a cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister on Tuesday.
CM Mohan Yadav said all cabinet-related information will now be available digitally through these devices. He explained that the e-Cabinet initiative will help ministers access agendas and review compliance reports anytime and anywhere. The application offers a modern and confidential platform for governance.
The Chief Minister added that officials are providing proper training to ensure smooth use of the e-Cabinet system. He expressed confidence that ministers will adopt the digital system to improve transparency and save time. Initially, cabinet agendas will be shared in both physical and digital formats. The state plans to move fully digital in the coming phase.
Chief Secretary Anurag Jain revealed that cabinet decisions taken since 1960 have been digitised. Ministers can now view decisions from the last two years with a single click. Officials also gave a detailed presentation after the meeting. They explained the tablet features and workflow to ministers.
Madhya Pradesh currently has 31 cabinet ministers. The initiative marks a major step toward digital governance.
