Naidu Announces ₹50-Crore Fund to Promote Entrepreneurship at Davos

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, speaking at the Davos World Economic Forum, announced the launch of a ₹50-crore fund to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the state. The fund is aimed at providing financial support, mentorship, and resources to startups and small businesses, encouraging more citizens to enter the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Naidu highlighted several initiatives in Andhra Pradesh designed to foster innovation, skill development, and business growth, including incubation centers and technology parks. He also introduced the government’s policy of “One Family, One Entrepreneur,” which allows one spouse to focus on running a business while the other pursues formal employment, creating a balanced approach to risk and income. The CM emphasized that these measures are part of a broader effort to position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for innovation and investment, attract domestic and global entrepreneurs, and boost employment opportunities while supporting sustainable economic growth.
