Naidu Meets Amit Shah, Pushes Amaravati as Investment Destination
Naidu meets Amit Shah in New Delhi on Friday and presented the vision and growth potential of Amaravati to attract private developers. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister sought the Union government’s support for accelerating development in the capital region.
During the meeting, Naidu explained the planned infrastructure, connectivity, and governance model for Amaravati. He said the capital city offers strong opportunities for real estate, technology parks, and institutional investment. According to him, investor confidence is returning due to stable policies and long-term planning.
Naidu also discussed the need for coordination between the Centre and the State. He said timely approvals and support would help speed up major projects. Shah listened to the proposals and assured cooperation within the framework of existing policies, sources said.
The Chief Minister highlighted Amaravati’s strategic location and sustainable urban design. He stressed that the city is being developed with a focus on green spaces, public transport, and inclusive growth. These features, he said, make it attractive to global and domestic developers.
The meeting also covered law and order, infrastructure funding, and administrative issues. Naidu meets Amit Shah as part of ongoing efforts to secure central backing for Andhra Pradesh’s development priorities.
