Nalanda Wife Murder shocked residents after a man allegedly killed his wife in a brutal attack in Bihar’s Nalanda district. The incident happened in Gaderia Beldari Bigha village under the Ben police station area.
According to police, the accused Lallu Bind attacked his wife Sonmanti Devi after a dispute at home. During the argument, the woman tried to escape and hide in a nearby house. However, the accused followed her.
In a violent rage, he sat on her chest and repeatedly hit her with a stone grinding slab (silbatta). The attack caused serious injuries and she died on the spot.
The Nalanda Wife Murder created panic in the village. Family members and neighbors rushed to the house after hearing the commotion, but the woman had already died.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information. Officers sent the body for post-mortem and arrested the accused. The investigation into the case is currently ongoing.
