Nara Lokesh Highlights AI as a Game-Changer for Jobs

AI Future Jobs in Andhra Pradesh are reshaping employment. Learn how reskilling and technology adoption matter.

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh said that the state should lead in adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) rather than follow it. He spoke at the CII Partnership Summit on “AI and the Future of Jobs: Turning Disruption into Opportunity.” He highlighted that AI is transforming industries and creating new job opportunities.

The minister stressed the importance of reskilling, upskilling, and redefining job roles. He said that individuals and the government must prepare the workforce for future challenges. Adapting to AI-driven changes, he added, will help the state maintain competitiveness.

Lokesh highlighted the Future Skills project already launched in Andhra Pradesh. The initiative trains youth in AI ethics, data storytelling, robotic process automation, and sustainable technology. He said these programs help young professionals take proactive and meaningful roles in the evolving job market.

Looking at global trends, Lokesh said that AI and new technologies could create 9.7 million jobs worldwide by 2025. He urged youth to embrace future skills to secure employment and play innovative roles in technology. Preparing the workforce now, he added, is key to turning disruption into opportunity.
