Nara Lokesh Opens New ₹6.3 Crore Academic Blocks at Rajahmundry Arts College

Nara Lokesh inaugurates ₹6.3 crore academic buildings at Rajahmundry Arts College on Friday, marking a major step in strengthening higher education infrastructure. The new facilities aim to improve learning conditions for students and staff.
The Minister for Education and IT formally opened the newly constructed academic blocks on the campus. He also unveiled the college’s new logo, which was installed on the renovated entrance gate. Officials said the upgraded entrance reflects the institution’s renewed identity.
During the visit, Lokesh interacted with international students at the C.V. Raman International Studies and Research Centre. He spoke about the importance of global exposure in education and encouraged students to use campus resources fully. The students shared their academic experiences and research interests.
Lokesh said the State government remains committed to modernising government colleges. He stressed that quality infrastructure plays a key role in improving academic standards and attracting talent. According to him, public institutions must match global benchmarks.
Faculty members and students welcomed the new buildings. They said the facilities would support better teaching, research, and student engagement.
