She accused Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Raja Warring and Pratap Singh Bajwa of chasing power. She said Randhawa has links with gangsters. She also said Bajwa is close to the BJP and Warring meets Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann secretly. Her remarks triggered a strong political reaction.
Dr. Sidhu said Bikram Majithia is ready to give her a list that shows Congress leaders paid money to defeat her family. She also alleged that the Tarn Taran bypoll ticket was sold for crores. She claimed that leaders demanded ₹3 crore from Jit Singh Rana Gandivand before giving the ticket to Karnbir Singh Burj. She said Burj told people that he paid ₹10 crore to two senior leaders.
Congress suspended Dr. Sidhu with immediate effect. Burj dismissed her claims and said he never gave money to anyone. He called her charges false and baseless.
