On September 25, 2025, the fourth day of Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Kushmanda, an incarnation of Maa Durga. Devotees seek her blessings for vitality, positivity, and freedom from worries or past burdens.
Goddess Kushmanda, also known as Ashtabhuja Devi, symbolizes light and energy in the universe. She is shown riding a lioness and holding eight items in her hands, including a lotus, kamandal, bow and arrow, amrit kalash, japa mala, gada, and chakra. She is associated with the Heart Chakra (Anahata).
