A shocking Nawada gang rape and murder case has come to light in Nawada district of Bihar. In the Nawada gang rape and murder incident, villagers found a woman’s body lying naked in a field near Samraitha village under Roh police station limits.
Police said the attackers raped the woman and then strangled her with her own sari. They also assaulted her before fleeing the spot. Locals informed the police after spotting the body early in the morning.
A special investigation team moved quickly and arrested three suspects within 24 hours. One of the accused is a minor. Officers recovered evidence from the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination.
The incident sparked anger in the village. Residents demanded strict punishment for the accused and stronger security for women in rural areas.
