Nayab Singh Saini hosts Khel Mahakumbh to empower Haryana’s youth and strengthen the state’s sports culture. The Chief Minister inaugurated the second phase of the sixth state-level Khel Mahakumbh 2025 in Panchkula, where over 9,959 athletes are competing across 17 sports disciplines. Nayab Singh Saini hosts Khel Mahakumbh with a vision to make Haryana a global leader in athletics.

During the event, Saini emphasized the importance of sports in shaping character, discipline, and national pride. He highlighted Haryana’s initiatives such as monthly stipends for young athletes, sports nurseries in every district, and job security through the Outstanding Players Service Rules. These efforts aim to nurture talent from the grassroots and prepare athletes for international platforms.

The Khel Mahakumbh also reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of India becoming a sporting superpower by the 2036 Olympics. Saini reaffirmed Haryana’s commitment to this goal, stating that the state will continue to invest in infrastructure, coaching, and athlete welfare.
