BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying he never does homework before making allegations. Prasad was responding to Gandhi’s claim of “vote theft” in Aland, Karnataka, during recent political campaigning.
Prasad said Rahul Gandhi never does homework and makes careless statements without verifying facts. He accused the Congress leader of misleading people to cover up his party’s failures. According to Prasad, such allegations are part of a pattern where Gandhi avoids real issues and instead resorts to sensational claims.
The BJP leader added that the Election Commission maintains transparency in the voting process, and no evidence supports Gandhi’s charge of irregularities. He emphasized that making reckless statements damages the credibility of democratic institutions.
Prasad also reminded voters that Congress has consistently lost ground in Karnataka due to weak leadership and poor performance. He said Rahul Gandhi should focus on rebuilding his party instead of spreading baseless claims.
The war of words between the BJP and Congress is expected to intensify as both parties gear up for upcoming elections. Prasad’s sharp remarks highlight the growing tension between the ruling party and the opposition.
