Nitish Kumar is set to become Bihar’s Chief Minister for the 10th time after the NDA’s big victory. As this happened, the debate on Nishant Kumar political entry started again. Many JDU leaders had earlier asked Nishant to enter politics. Now, Nitish’s elder brother Satish Kumar has said that the time is right for Nishant to take this step. He also spoke to Nishant about the responsibilities that come with public life. Satish repeated that Nishant Kumar political entry should happen only if Nishant truly wants it.
Satish explained that politics is not easy. He said Nishant must understand the challenges before joining public life. He added that the NDA’s victory shows people trust Nitish Kumar’s work for women, the poor, and backward groups.
Satish also dismissed questions about Nitish’s health. He said Nitish worked hard during the campaign and even addressed 10 meetings in one day. According to him, the election result shows people approved Nitish Kumar’s work.
Before the elections, posters demanding Nishant’s entry appeared in Patna. But Nishant stayed away from campaigning. After the results, he said the people rewarded his father for 20 years of service and that Nitish Kumar will continue to work for Bihar’s development.
