Nitish Kumar meets CM Samrat Choudhary in Patna soon after the new Bihar government proved its majority in the Assembly. The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s residence and lasted for about 20 minutes.
Earlier in the day, Nitish Kumar also met Deputy Chief Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav at his residence. These meetings triggered political discussions across the state.
Sources said Nitish Kumar meets CM Samrat Choudhary as a courtesy visit after the government successfully passed the floor test in the Bihar Assembly. Senior JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan “Lalan” Singh accompanied Nitish during the meeting.
However, officials did not reveal details of the discussion. Political observers believe the talks may relate to the upcoming cabinet expansion and future political strategy in Bihar.
Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary recently proved his government’s majority in the Assembly, marking a new phase in the state’s politics.
