The Nitish Kumar Resignation created an emotional moment in Bihar politics. After the Nitish Kumar Resignation from the Bihar Legislative Council, senior JD(U) leader Ashok Choudhary became emotional while speaking to the media. Nitish Kumar resigned from the council as part of a political move linked to his expected entry into the Rajya Sabha.
Choudhary said he considers Nitish Kumar his political mentor and father figure. While addressing reporters, he struggled to control his emotions and said that no other leader in the country can match Nitish Kumar’s leadership and personality.
He shared several memories from the past and said he had worked closely with Nitish Kumar in the House for about 12 years. According to him, Nitish always respected colleagues and even opponents, and often helped ministers during difficult debates.
Choudhary also recalled an incident from his time as education minister when Nitish Kumar asked him to strictly stop cheating in board exams to protect Bihar’s image. He said Nitish Kumar always remained concerned about the state’s reputation and development.
He added that Bihar politics will strongly feel Nitish Kumar’s absence in the legislature, though he will continue to guide the party and the state.
