Nitish Kumar Visits Temples in Bihar Before Vote Count

Nitish Kumar Visits Temples Bihar

After the Bihar elections, political activity is high as vote counting is scheduled for November 14. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was seen visiting multiple religious sites in Patna before the results. His temple visits drew attention ahead of the Bihar vote count.

Nitish Kumar, along with Vijay Chaudhary and Ashok Chaudhary, visited the shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal Shaheed near the Patna High Court. He offered a chadar (sheet) at the shrine, marking his respect. Nitish Kumar temple visits Bihar included not only mosques but also gurudwaras, where he paid obeisance with folded hands.

Later, he offered prayers at the Mahavir Temple and received blessings from Lord Hanuman. At the Patna City Gurudwara, Nitish Kumar appeared in a green turban, accompanied by several officials.

Bihar’s elections took place in two phases—on November 6 and 11. As the state awaits the results on November 14, Nitish Kumar’s spiritual visits seem to send a message of peace and inclusiveness. Political observers note that such gestures often aim to connect with people across communities.
