Nitish Sarkar Oath Bihar ceremony at Gandhi Maidan

The Nitish Sarkar Oath Bihar ceremony marked a major change in the state’s new government. The event took place at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, where Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administered the oath to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his team. The phrase Nitish Sarkar Oath Bihar became the centre of political discussion as the cabinet saw a big reshuffle.

A total of 26 ministers took the oath. They came from BJP, JDU, LJP (R), HAM, and RLMO. Nineteen ministers from the previous government did not return to the new list. Instead, 12 fresh faces entered the cabinet.

Former Deputy CM Renu Devi, Kedar Prasad Gupta, Neeraj Singh Bablu, Jivesh Mishra, Maheshwar Hazari, Krishna Kumar Mantu and many others did not find a place this time. Some leaders lost their seats, while others did not get tickets.

Twelve leaders became ministers for the first time. These include Ramkripal Yadav, Sanjay Singh Tiger, Arun Shankar Prasad, Rama Nishad, and Lakhandra Kumar Roshan. Deepak Prakash from RLMO also joined, even though he is not an MLA. He will soon become an MLC.

International shooter Shreyasi Singh became a minister again. Rama Nishad also entered the cabinet after her strong win from Aurai in Muzaffarpur.
