No Intimidation, Only Action: Pak Army Chief Warns India
Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, issued a stern warning to India, stating that Pakistan will deliver a “decisive response” to any provocation. Speaking at a military event in Islamabad, Gen. Munir declared, “We will never be intimidated, nor coerced by rhetoric, and will respond decisively to even a minor provocation without any qualms.”
His statement comes amid heightened tensions between the two neighbouring countries, following recent border-related remarks and military developments. The Army Chief emphasised that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
General Munir also urged for peace but made it clear that Pakistan would not tolerate any threats. His remarks have drawn sharp reactions, with Indian officials yet to formally respond. The statement adds to the already fragile relations between the nuclear-armed neighbours, with both sides maintaining a watchful stance along the border.
