Not Every Kashmiri Is a Terrorist, Says CM Omar Abdullah
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday condemned the recent Delhi blast and called for strict action against those responsible while cautioning against targeting innocent people. Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Mr. Abdullah said the entire Kashmiri community should not be viewed through the lens of terrorism because of the actions of a few. “The guilty must be punished, but no innocent should suffer,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of fairness and restraint in ongoing investigations. The Chief Minister also urged citizens to maintain communal harmony and resist attempts to create division or mistrust. Stressing that peace and stability in the region depend on unity and justice, he said his government would continue to cooperate fully with central agencies.
