London-based consumer tech company Nothing has raised $200 million in a Series C funding round, pushing its valuation to $1.3 billion. The company said the fresh funds will fuel its ambition to develop AI-native devices and expand its hardware ecosystem.

Nothing’s long-term vision is to build an AI-driven operating system that deeply integrates with hardware. The company believes that current smartphones have only limited AI features like translation and photo editing. Instead, it aims to design devices from the ground up that work seamlessly with AI, delivering hyper-personalised user experiences.

The company also said consumer hardware must reinvent itself for the AI era. Its platform already includes smartphones and audio devices, and it plans to expand into smartwatches, smart glasses, robots and even electric vehicles.

The round was led by Tiger Global, with support from GV, Highland Europe, EQT, Latitude, I2BF and Tapestry. Qualcomm Ventures and investor Nikhil Kamath also joined.

Nothing confirmed it will soon launch another Community round, giving fans and early adopters a chance to invest in its growth journey.
