The Andhra Pradesh Specialty Hospital Association (ASHA) has announced that NTR healthcare services may be suspended from October 10 if the government fails to clear pending dues. The association expressed concern that despite several services already being scaled down, the state government has not responded, creating serious operational difficulties for hospitals.
ASHA stated that it is demanding the immediate release of Rs. 670 crore in pending payments. Additionally, they expect a clear action plan for the remaining Rs. 2,000 crore dues before entering any further discussions with the government. Officials highlighted that the large pending payments are severely affecting hospital operations and patient care, making it increasingly difficult to maintain essential services.
The association warned that unless the government addresses these financial obligations promptly, it will have no choice but to halt NTR specialty healthcare services, impacting patients across Andhra Pradesh.
