Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were recently spotted on Steven Spielberg’s $250 million superyacht, Seven Seas, in Portofino, Italy. The vacation helped put to rest rumors about their marriage, with sources calling it a much-needed break.
Michelle arrived first, stepping onto the yacht in a stylish Canadian tuxedo. Spielberg welcomed her warmly. Barack joined the next day with his security team, which included Italian intelligence personnel and bomb-sniffing dogs.
Despite arriving separately, the couple spent quality time together, sharing breakfast and lunch on the yacht’s deck. Paparazzi captured them laughing and enjoying a relaxed meal with Spielberg and his wife, actress Kate Capshaw.
The Seven Seas is a 357-foot luxury vessel with a large pool, private cinema, helipad, and an oversized beach club. Its interiors were designed by Isaksen Design, while the exteriors were styled by Sinot Yacht Architecture.
The Obamas’ trip coincided with a high-profile memorial for Charlie Kirk in Arizona. Barack offered prayers for Kirk’s family, calling his murder “horrific and a tragedy.”
An insider shared that the vacation gave the Obamas time to unwind and reconnect. They are in a “great place” and plan to stay together, even amid political chaos.
