Odisha President Murmu Visit preparations have intensified ahead of her arrival on November 27–28. The high-profile Odisha President Murmu Visit includes multiple public engagements in Bhubaneswar, prompting security agencies to activate a coordinated safety plan across key routes and venues.

Officials held a top-level meeting in the State Capital on Monday to finalise arrangements. The President will land at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 2 PM on November 27 and stay overnight at Raj Bhavan. The next day, she will attend programmes at the Odisha Legislative Assembly and Jayadev Bhawan.

To ensure seamless movement, police deployed 25 platoons across strategic points. CISF personnel will secure the airport, while President’s Bodyguard commandos and Commissionerate Police officers will monitor every approach road. Authorities also arranged barricades from the airport to Raj Bhavan and from Raj Bhavan to the Assembly.

Officers from the Airport Authority, Intelligence Bureau, Odisha Police, Fire Services, PWD, and Traffic Wing reviewed logistics, communication channels, and emergency responses. Five DCPs, five ACPs, and dozens of inspectors will supervise operations round the clock.

Bhubaneswar will stay on heightened alert until the visit concludes, with officials urging citizens to follow traffic advisories and cooperate with security checks.
