Olympic academy in every district of Bihar is the state’s new goal to strengthen sports and support rising athletes. Bihar’s Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh announced that an Olympic academy in every district of Bihar will help young players get proper training and facilities.
The government plans to open these academies at all district headquarters. Officials are scouting talented athletes across Bihar and preparing a roadmap to improve sports infrastructure. Shreyasi Singh shared these updates during her visit to Sheikhpura.
She said that along with promoting sports, the government also aims to develop Bihar into a strong IT hub. Engineering colleges have opened in all districts, and major steps are being taken in science and technology. These efforts aim to give Bihar’s youth better opportunities in education, sports, and innovation.
Shreyasi Singh is not only a minister but also a celebrated athlete. She won a gold medal in shooting at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and a silver medal in 2014. Her experience in sports motivates her work to support Bihar’s young talent.
